Roger Pe: Philippines; Has written for Ad Age New York, Campaign Brief Asia, Campaign Asia, Adoi and top Philippine broadsheets. You can call me extremely loyal and generous to a fault. I hate loud people, cigarette smoke and ninja turtle movies. Long queues freak me out. Chronic anti-social. Victim of bullies. Greatest achievement: finishing in the middle of the pack of 1992 Manila International Marathon. Countless 10Ks, 15Ks and three 21K running events gave me highs. Forever indebted to Margie Quimpo-Espino for giving me a break in Philippine Daily Inquirer in 1997. Two Jessicas inspire me to keep writing: Jessica Hagedorn and Jessica Zafra. JWT, Leo Burnett, Bates, McCann, DDB and University of the Philippines alumni. President of Creative Guild of the Philippines (2002). Started as a Copywriter then as Art Director and Creative Director. Worked in Indonesia afterwhich rose from the ranks and became Executive Creative Director in the Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and for other offshore clients. Member of the jury: New York and London International Advertising Awards three times in a row.
