AS I WRITE AND DO AN AD.

How can I make my ad memorable? I try not to look at advertising books and leaf through pages of award annuals. I only look at the brief to make my engine run. The basic rule: I don't want to be influenced by anybody's work. I do not wait for the moon to shine over me and reveal its full, perfect glory. I walk, I jog, I run. Running jogs my mind. I remember one Bill Bernbach quote though, "One great ad can do the work of ten." When you do an interesting ad, people remember and you don't have to repeat it over and over again. Those are the basic words I live by.
